East Coast Championships Returns Major Youth Sailing to Sydney Harbour
The 2026 East Coast Championships concluded in spectacular fashion over the King’s Birthday Long Weekend, with 156 boats, more than 30 support RIBs and hundreds of sailors, coaches, officials and families converging on Sydney Harbour for one of Australia’s largest youth sailing regattas.
NSW Optimist Winter Inter-Club Championship 2026 Round 2
Following a spectacular opening regatta on Sydney Harbour, the highly anticipated 2026 NSW Optimist Interclub Series is carrying strong momentum into Round 2. After Woollahra Sailing Club successfully hosted Round 1 on 3 May 2026, the state’s premier youth winter sailing development series now heads to the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron (RSYS) on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

The Club is in a good position with strong growth in our junior and youth sailing programs and stability and continuity within the Board. This provides a strong foundation for long-term planning.
